Revalidations and Renewals

Revalidations and Renewals

At Flight Training London, we provide Revalidations and Renewals for a wide range of UK, EASA, and FAA pilot ratings. Understanding the difference between these processes is essential to stay current, compliant, and safe in the air.

Revalidations and Renewals

Revalidation: Your rating is still valid. No mandatory training is required before the revalidation test with a CAA or EASA examiner, although refresher training is often recommended to ensure your skills meet the required test standard.

Renewal: Your rating has expired—this could be by one day, one year, or more. Renewal requires training to achieve the test standard, and a Course Completion Certificate must be issued by your training provider and presented to the examiner before the test.
